Today in
class, I had to research an artist and I thought of Shepard Fairey as he is an
urban artist and graphic designer. I chose this artist because he could give me
ideas on how to design posters for different events.

He is an artist who was born in Charleston, South Carolina and currently lives and works
in Los Angeles. His career began with the creation of a sticker in 1989 while
he was studying at the Rhode Island School of Design, with the passage of time
he became a great illustrator and is recognized for the posters he makes and
the slogans he puts.

You should include in this post some examples of Fairey's work as well as an image of the designer himself! That way you can illustrate your points about his work and relate it back to your own project much easier. Look at composition, layout, colours, typography and content and say how you might use these ideas in your own work.
