Movies with beasts from Greek mythology
In this post, I just want to show the movies that I am going to watch to document myself about Greek mythology. In other publications, I will comment individually on each film.
I started researching movies to find inspiration and find new beasts that I didn't know about. I googled the movies related to Greek mythology and I got quite a few movies, but most of them were very old. Decide to see the most modern as the special effects and animations would be more realistic.
These will be the 6 films with which I will document myself.
1.
Hercules (2014)
This film will be based on the 12 labors of Hercules.
2.
Percy Jackson the Lightning Thief ( 2010)
In this film, Percy is accused of stealing the lightning from Zeus and he is asked to return it if he does not want a war with the god Zeus.
3.
Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters (2013)
It is a movie Percy and his companions go in search of a "magic object" this object is capable of curing everything that it covers.
4.
Clash of the Titans (2010)
In this movie, Perseus has to go find the Medusa head to save a Princess and her people.
5.
Wrath of the Titans (2012)
In this film, Perseus returns to prevent the father of the gods from returning and destroying the whole world.
6.
Immortals (2011)
En esta película, Teseo quiere demostrar que se puede vivir sin alabar o creer en ningún dios, porque los dioses no hacen nada por los humanos.
I guess this is a good way to get an idea about the look and different approaches in different media to your subject, but I can't see how you are going to use this. I'd like to see more finished and coloured sketches of your idea.
